Naples, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Bernhard Langer carded a 2-under 70 on Saturday to maintain a share of the lead at the ACE Group Classic.

Langer, who is the defending champion, finished 36 holes on the Talon Course at The TwinEagles Club at 10-under-par 70.

Kirk Triplett fired a 5-under 67 during his second round to meet Langer there. Langer is seeking his 20th career win on the Champions Tour and Triplett is trying for his third.

"They say he's human, but I don't know, I don't know. He's played some nice rounds," Triplett said about going against Langer in the final round. "Looks to me like he's kind of on a mission this year."

Duffy Waldorf (68) and Olin Browne (69) shared third place at 9-under, while Colin Montgomerie (67) and Bob Tway (72) were tied for fifth at 7-under 137.

Bill Glasson (69) owned sole possession of seventh at minus-6.

Langer entered the second round with a 1-stroke lead, and opened the day with birdies at the first and third around a bogey at the second to move to 9-under and remain on top of the leaderboard.

He would par his next 10 holes to remain there, which allowed Triplett to pull even.

Triplett cruised through an outward 34 with birdies at the third and sixth to make the turn at 7-under. He then rolled in back-to-back gains at the 12th and 13th to meet Langer at 9-under.

Langer broke his streak with a birdie at the 14th to regain the outright lead, but was soon met at 10-under by Triplett following his birdie at the par-3 16th.

Triplett would par his final two holes to finish there.

Langer briefly lost his share of the lead with a bogey at the 16th, but bounced right back with a birdie at the 17th to again reach 10-under. He parred the last to end alongside Triplett heading into the final round.

"It was a tough day, a lot of wind out there and some pretty good pin positions, tucked pretty tight in some small areas on a number of greens," said Langer. "Just played fairly decent golf. I actually hit every fairway except the 18th and hit a lot of greens for the conditions."
