Turin, Italy (SportsNetwork.com) - Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic is expected to miss the next few weeks after suffering a sprained knee in training on Thursday.

After undergoing tests it was determined that Vucinic had escaped ligament damage, but the club confirmed that he will miss at least a few weeks.

"Although no surgery is required, the Montenegrin forward is expected to be out of action for several weeks," a club statement read.

The 30-year-old is behind forwards Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente in the Juve pecking order, and has been limited to nine appearances this term in Serie A, scoring two goals.
