Cameron Bairstow scored four of his 23 points in overtime Saturday to send New Mexico to a tense 66-61 win over Wyoming.

Bairstow, who added 11 rebounds, also hit the game-tying shot with 35 seconds left in regulation, while the Cowboys' Larry Nance Jr. missed a potential game-winning shot with one second left.

New Mexico's Alex Kirk also had a double-double for the Lobos (18-4, 9-1 Mountain West) with 15 points and 10 rebounds to help them win their sixth straight.

Riley Grabau scored 12 points to lead Wyoming (14-8, 5-4), which was without second-leading scorer Josh Adams because of a suspension. Three other Cowboys had 10 points.

The game was tight throughout, with neither team taking a lead larger than four points until the final seconds. There were nine ties and the lead flip-flopped 23 times.

New Mexico won the teams' first meeting this season in overtime, as well.
