Nantes, France (SportsNetwork.com) - Nantes confirmed Friday that is has signed defender Kian Hansen from Esbjerg and loaned the player back to the Danish club.
The Ligue 1 club announced that Hansen had passed a medical to seal the deal, signing a four-and-a-half-year contract with the French side.
Nantes also struck a deadline-day deal for striker Itay Schechter, bringing in the Israeli international from Hapoel Tel Aviv on a six-month loan.
