NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Titans have hired Giff Smith as their new defensive line coach and Bob Bostad (BOE-stad) as the offensive line coach with Ken Whisenhunt working to fill out his coaching staff.
The Titans announced the hirings Thursday.
Most of Smith's 22 years of coaching experience is in the college ranks, bu5 he spent three seasons coaching the Buffalo Bills' defensive line between 2010 and 2012. He coached the defensive line at Georgia Tech between 2004-09 and also has worked at Tulane, Georgia Southern and was a graduate assistant at Arkansas and Georgia.
Bostad has coached the past two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as offensive line coach and spent six seasons at Wisconsin as the run game coordinator coaching first tight ends and then the offensive line.
