The tough Italian duo handled a fourth-seeded tandem of Czech Kveta Peschke and Slovenian Katarina Srebotnik 6-1, 6-4 in Wednesday's semifinals at Melbourne Park.
The reigning Aussie Open champs will face a Russian duo in the final, as No. 3 seeds Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina held off an eighth-seeded American combination of Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears, 7-5, 3-6, 6-3.
Errani and Vinci own three Grand Slam doubles titles overall, while Makarova and Vesnina are the reigning French Open titlists.
Friday's winning team will split $458,000.
