New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Arizona men's basketball team remains perched atop the latest Associated Press Poll.

The Wildcats once again earned 61 first-place votes and a total of 1,621 points from a nationwide media panel to retain the top spot for a seventh consecutive week.

The remaining four first-place votes stayed with Syracuse, which is No. 2 for the seventh week in a row.

Michigan State, Villanova and Wichita State round out the top five, as Wisconsin fell from third to ninth following its first two losses of the season.

Florida, San Diego State and Kansas precede Wisconsin, while Iowa completes the top 10. Kansas vaulted seven places from 15th after beating then-No. 8 Iowa State and then-No. 9 Oklahoma State last week.

The second 10 consists of Oklahoma State, Louisville, Massachusetts, Kentucky, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Ohio State, Duke, Saint Louis and Pittsburgh. Ohio State tumbled six spots to 17th after being dealt its third straight loss by Minnesota.

Michigan, Kansas State, Memphis, Baylor and Oklahoma are the last five teams ranked. Michigan and Kansas State are newcomers, while Baylor plummeted from 12th to 24th.

Creighton, Colorado and UCLA dropped out of this week's poll.
