Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Bulls announced on Friday they have signed free-agent forward Cartier Martin to a 10-day contract.

After the recent trade of Luol Deng to Cleveland, Martin brings added depth to the Bulls frontcourt.

In 25 games -- two starts -- with the Atlanta Hawks this season, Martin averaged 6.6 points and 2.0 rebounds while shooting 40.5 percent from 3-point range.

The sixth-year veteran owns averages of 5.5 points and 2.1 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per game during stops in Charlotte, Golden State and Washington.

Bulls forward Carlos Boozer is expected to return to the Bulls lineup on Friday against the Milwaukee Bucks after missing the past two games with a sore knee.
