Cleveland, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving was held out of Thursday's game against the Orlando Magic because of a knee injury.

An MRI on Wednesday confirmed Irving has a left knee contusion.

Irving had to be helped off the court in the third quarter of Tuesday's loss to Indiana. He later returned but was listed as questionable for Thursday's game.

It was the first time Irving missed a game this season.
