Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Philadelphia 76ers rookie point guard Michael Carter-Williams will return to the lineup to take on the Brooklyn Nets on Friday.

Carter-Williams, who missed the last 11 tilts with a knee infection, is leading the rookie class in nearly every statistical category. The Syracuse product is averaging 17.7 points, 7.3 assists and 5.8 rebounds per game this season. He is also leading the league with 3.1 steals per contest.

The Sixers went 1-10 with Carter-Williams out of the lineup, with the lone win coming in overtime against Orlando.

"I have had two good practices," said Carter-Williams. "I felt good. I was shooting after, so I am ready to go."

Nets' veteran big man Kevin Garnett (rest) will miss the contest.
