Angels non-tender Hanson, Williams

Anaheim, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have non- tendered starting pitchers Tommy Hanson and Jerome Williams.

Hanson joined the Angels in 2013 and was 4-3 with a 5.42 ERA in 15 outings, including 13 starts, while Williams spent the past three seasons with the club and last year was 9-10 with a 4.57 ERA in 37 games, 25 of his which were starts.

Also non-tendered were infielder Chris Nelson and pitcher Juan Gutierrez, while the club tendered contracts to slugger Mark Trumbo, recently acquired third baseman David Freese, closer Ernesto Frieri and pitchers Kevin Jepsen and Fernando Salas.
