New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Auburn's win over Alabama on Saturday was not enough to push the Tigers past Ohio State in the latest AP poll.

Only two unbeaten teams from power conferences remain -- Florida State and Ohio State -- after Auburn stunned previously top-ranked and two-time defending national champion Alabama on Saturday.

The Tigers needed a miraculous field goal return on the game's final play to win, and while they picked up a pair of first-place votes, it wasn't enough to give them the edge over the Buckeyes.

The Seminoles completed their perfect regular season with Saturday's win over rival Florida and took over the top spot after receiving the other 58 first- place votes for a total of 1,498 points from a nationwide media panel.

It's the first time FSU has been ranked No. 1 since 2000.

The Buckeyes, who thwarted Michigan's 2-point conversion try to hold on for a 42-41 win on Saturday, picked up 1,418 points to narrowly beat out Auburn's 1,387 points for the No. 2 spot.

Alabama, which had been atop the poll the entire season, dropped to fourth, while Missouri sits at No. 5 after securing a spot in next week's SEC Championship Game against Auburn with a win over Texas A&M.

Oklahoma State, Stanford, South Carolina, Baylor and Michigan State complete this week's top 10. South Carolina moved up two spots after beating then-No. 6 Clemson, which dropped seven spots in the poll.

The second 10 consists of Arizona State, Oregon, Clemson, LSU, UCF, Northern Illinois, UCLA, Oklahoma, Louisville and Duke. UCLA jumped five spots after upending USC on Saturday.

Wisconsin, Texas A&M, Texas, Fresno State and Georgia are the last five teams ranked this week. Wisconsin took a tumble after losing to Penn State, while Texas and Georgia replaced USC and Notre Dame in the poll.

The SEC title game, as well as several others next weekend, will shape the muddled BCS picture.

Florida State and Duke will vie for the ACC title, Ohio State and Michigan State will battle for the Big Ten crown, and Stanford and Arizona State take aim at the Pac-12 championship.

In addition, the Big 12 champion will be determined next Saturday. Oklahoma State controls its destiny and can clinch the automatic BCS bid with a win over rival Oklahoma. If the Sooners win, the Baylor-Texas tilt will essentially be a de facto conference title game.
