Thidapa Suwannapura closed with a bogey- free 4-under 68 on Saturday and won the Women's Indian Open by three strokes.

Suwannapura finished her first Ladies European Tour title at 8-under-par 208 at The Delhi Golf Club.

Valentine Derrey closed with a 2-under 70 to take second at minus-5.

Suwannapura birdied the first to push her lead over Derrey to two shots. Derrey fought back with birdies at four and six to forge at tie at minus-5.

Derrey tripped to a bogey on the seventh, but bounced right back as she birdied the par-5 eighth. Suwannapura birdied the ninth to move one clear heading to the back nine.

Suwannapura poured in back-to-back birdie efforts at 13 and 14 to push her lead to three. She closed with four pars in a row to seal the win. Derrey parred the final 10 holes to end alone in second.

Hannah Burke (68) and Saraporn Chamchoi (69) shared third place at 4-under 212, while Beth Allen (66), amateur Gauri Monga (70) and Charley Hull (72) tied for fifth at minus-3.
