Cardiff, Wales (SportsNetwork.com) - Aaron Ramsey continued his sensational season on Saturday by grabbing a brace in Arsenal's 3-0 win at Cardiff City.

Ramsey, who began his career with Cardiff City in 2006, has become Arsenal's leading scorer in Premier League play this term as his eight goals have helped bring the Gunners to 31 points on the season, seven points clear at the top of the table.

The 22-year-old put the visitors in front 29 minutes into Saturday's affair when he got on the end of Mesut Ozil's cross and headed the delivery past David Marshall.

Cardiff City managed to stay within striking distance of Arsenal until the closing stages when Ozil set up another goal for the visitors by playing a through ball into the path of Mathieu Flamini, who took the pass and hammered a one-time effort into the back of the net.

Ramsey completed the comfortable victory by adding a third in the second minute of stoppage time, taking a pass from Theo Walcott and ripping a shot into the upper corner.

Everton 4, Stoke City 0

Liverpool, England - Four different scorers guided Everton to a resounding 4-0 win over Stoke City at Goodison Park on Saturday, a result that sees the Toffees climb to fourth place with 24 points.

Gerard Deulofeu opened the scoring just before halftime with his first goal of the campaign while Seamus Coleman doubled Everton's advantage just three minutes into the second period.

Bryan Oviedo made it three for the home side in the 57th minute and Romelu Lukaku wrapped up the affair 11 minutes from time to bring Stoke City's three- game unbeaten run to a disappointing end.

West Ham 3, Fulham 0

London, England - West Ham snapped a two-game slide in impressive fashion on Saturday as the Hammers ran out at Upton Park to a 3-0 defeat of Fulham.

The home side seized control of the match after a scoreless opening period as goals from Mohamed Diame, Carlton Cole and Joe Cole helped West Ham pull further away from the relegation zone with 13 points for the season.

Fulham, on 10 points, drops its fifth straight league match, placing increasing pressure on manager Martin Jol.

Norwich City 1, Crystal Palace 0

Norwich, England - Gary Hooper provided the lone goal at Carrow Road on Saturday as his first-half strike was enough to grant Norwich City a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

Hooper struck at the half-hour mark with his second Premier League goal of the season and the Canaries kept a clean sheet to see the club rise to 14 points through 13 games.

Crystal Palace drops to last place in the English top flight as the club remains on seven points.

Newcastle 2, West Bromwich 1

Newcastle, England - Newcastle climbed to fifth place in the Premier League table on Saturday thanks to a 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion at St. James' Park.

Yoan Gouffran nodded the Magpies in front in the 36th minute, but West Brom answered in the 53rd minute through Chris Brunt's thundering strike.

But Newcastle needed just four minutes to restore its lead as Moussa Sissoko unleashed a spectacular effort from distance to lift Alan Pardew's side to a fourth consecutive league win.

Aston Villa 0, Sunderland 0

Birmingham, England - Scoring chances were at a premium at Villa Park on Saturday as Aston Villa and Sunderland shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw.

The result extends Villa's unbeaten run in league play to four games as the club improves to 16 points while also lifting Sunderland out of the cellar as the Black Cats climb to eight points.
