Ramsey, who began his career with Cardiff City in 2006, has become Arsenal's leading scorer in Premier League play this term as his eight goals have helped bring the Gunners to 31 points on the season, seven points clear at the top of the table.
The 22-year-old put the visitors in front 29 minutes into Saturday's affair when he got on the end of Mesut Ozil's cross and headed the delivery past David Marshall.
Cardiff City managed to stay within striking distance of Arsenal until the closing stages when Ozil set up another goal for the visitors by playing a through ball into the path of Mathieu Flamini, who took the pass and hammered a one-time effort into the back of the net.
Ramsey completed the comfortable victory by adding a third in the second minute of stoppage time, taking a pass from Theo Walcott and ripping a shot into the upper corner.
