New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer, Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David and Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh were named the NFC's top players for Week 12 of the NFL season.

Palmer completed 26-of-37 passes for 314 yards, two touchdowns, a passer rating of 114.0 and no interceptions to help lead the Cardinals to a 40-11 win over the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday. It is his third career Player of the Week selection and his first since the 2009 season when he was with the Cincinnati Bengals.

David finished the game with 12 tackles, one forced fumble, one pass defensed, and one interception in helping to lead the Buccaneers to a 24-21 victory over the Detroit Lions. He is the first player this year to record at least 12 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble in a single game.

A second-year product out of Nebraska, this is David's first career Player of the Week Award.

Walsh successfully made all four of his field goals attempted in Sunday's 26-26 tie with the Green Bay Packers. His long for the game came on a 47-yard attempt.

In his second season out of Georgia, this is Walsh's fourth career Player of the Week Award. He was honored three times last season as a rookie (Weeks 1, 15 and 17).
