Eugene, OR (SportsNetwork.com) - The University of Oregon has given head men's basketball coach Dana Altman a three-year contract extension through the 2019-20 season.

Altman has guided the Ducks to a 77-37 record in his three-plus years as head coach. Oregon, currently ranked 14th, is off to a 4-0 start this season heading into Friday's matchup against Pacific.

Oregon won the Pac-12 Tournament last season and made it to the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16. Altman also led the Ducks into the quarterfinals of the 2012 NIT, while his first year at Oregon resulted in a championship when the Ducks won the College Basketball Invitational.

Prior to taking over the Ducks' program, Altman compiled a 327-176 record in 16 seasons at Creighton from 1994-2010. He was then signed to a seven-year contract at Oregon.
