Martin Seiferth scored 24 points and grabbed 18 rebounds on Tuesday and Eastern Washington cruised to an 82-44 win over winless Walla Walla University.

Eastern Washington (2-1) opened the game with an 11-point run and never looked back, scoring 24 first-half points in the paint and out-rebounding NAIA Walla Walla 46-30 overall.

Seiferth had 12 points and 12 rebounds in the first half alone, and the Eagles bench outscored Walla Walla's starters 18-15.

Tyler Harvey added 15 points — all 3-pointers — for Eastern Washington, Venky Jois scored 14 points and Drew Brandon had 10 assists. The Eagles shot 47.8 percent from the field on 32-of-67 shooting compared with 30.2 percent on 16-of-53 shooting for Walla Walla.

Andrew Bailey came off the bench to score 11 points, including two 3-pointers, for Walla Walla (0-9).
