DENVER – Kansas City defensive end Mike DeVito and Denver safety Rahim Moore were knocked out with injuries in the first half of the Chiefs-Broncos showdown Monday night.
DeVito injured his left knee on a short run by Knowshon Moreno in the first quarter and walked off on his own after staying down for a minute.
Moore left the game in the second quarter with what the Broncos called only a lower-leg injury. It wasn't clear on what play Moore got hurt.
Both players were ruled out for the second half. Denver led 17-10 at halftime.
