Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Philadelphia Phillies signed outfielders Clete Thomas and Leandro Castro, and pitchers Shawn Camp and Cesar Jimenez to minor league contracts with an invite to major league spring training on Friday.

Thomas batted .214 with four home runs and 13 RBI in 92 games with the Minnesota Twins last season, playing all three outfield positions. The 30- year-old veteran has appeared in 249 career major league games for the Tigers and Twins, hitting .233 with 13 home runs and 65 RBI.

Camp, 37, spent the first half of the 2013 season with the Chicago Cubs where he went 1-1 with a 7.04 ERA in 26 games before being released. He signed with Arizona and spent the rest of the season in Triple-A. Over his 10-year career, Camp has a 29-33 mark with a 4.40 career ERA in 538 games between the Kansas City Royals, Tampa Bay Rays, Toronto Blue Jays and Cubs.

Jimenez, a 29-year-old lefty, appeared in 19 games with Philadelphia last season, going 1-1 with a 3.71 ERA in 17 innings. He held left-handed hitters to a .143 average with only one extra-base hit in 28 at-bats. Over parts of four seasons in the majors with the Mariners and Phillies, he has a 2-3 mark with a 4.96 ERA in 62 games.

Castro, 24, doesn't have any major league experience. In 117 games for Triple- A Lehigh Valley last season, he batted .256 with eight home runs, 55 RBI and 20 stolen bases.
