Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Columbus Blue Jackets forward Marian Gaborik, who has struggled to score this season, is expected to be out for the next 4-to-6 weeks.
Jackets head coach Todd Richards made the announcement Friday, with additional reports from inside the team revealing a sprained knee is the culprit.
The 31-year-old winger hadn't recorded a goal in his last eight games, and has contributed five scores and 11 points in 17 games to Columbus' slow start in the Metropolitan Division.
