Green Bay, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Green Bay Packers will start Scott Tolzien at quarterback against the New York Giants in Week 11, according to head coach Mike McCarthy.

Tolzien entered Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles midway through the first quarter when Seneca Wallace left the game with a groin injury.

The injury to Wallace was the second in as many weeks to the QB position for Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers suffered a broken collarbone in Green Bay's 27-20 loss to Chicago on Monday night.

Tolzien, a former University of Wisconsin product, finished with 280 yards on 24-of-39 passing with one touchdown and two interceptions.

"I thought Scott Tolzien played as well as to be expected, he made just the one throw down in the end zone where he probably wants that throw back and I'll tell you right now Scott Tolzien will start against the New York Giants," said McCarthy.

The Packers will head into their road game against the Giants with a 5-4 record.
