Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - Bruins forward Loui Eriksson will return to the lineup after a five-game absence when Boston hosts the Dallas Stars on Tuesday.

Head coach Claude Julien made the announcement following a morning practice session.

Eriksson left a 5-2 victory against the Buffalo Sabres on Oct. 23 after taking a vicious hit to the head from Buffalo enforcer John Scott. Eriksson was later diagnosed with a concussion.

Scott will miss a total of 10 games for his actions, three while awaiting a hearing from the league and seven once the actual suspension was announced last week.

"I'm just happy that I'm feeling good right now and it's been a really good recovery," said Eriksson hours before facing his former team for the first time.

Julien also said that defenseman Johnny Boychuk will "more than likely" return to action, after missing Saturday's loss to the Islanders in the wake of crashing into the boards and injuring his back during last Thursday's 3-2 shootout win over Anaheim.
