Memphis, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - Mike Conley scored 15 points and dished out eight assists to help the Memphis Grizzlies edge the Boston Celtics, 95-88, at FedEx Forum.

Zach Randolph added 15 points and seven rebounds and Marc Gasol finished with 14 points and eight boards for the Grizzlies, winners in two of their last three games.

Jeff Green scored a game-high 22 points and Jared Sullinger chipped in 16 points and five rebounds off the bench for the Celtics, who fell to 0-4 on the year.

"I think you just understand where we are and where we have to go. You do your best to focus on what's next and not pay too much attention to anything else. Again, I was disappointed (Sunday) night in a lot of ways with a lot of things, and I'm disappointed in the loss tonight. But I'm not disappointed in a lot of things," said Celtics coach Brad Stevens.

Boston led by seven, 77-70, following a Courtney Lee 3-pointer just over two minutes into the final frame. Memphis, though, opened up a 12-5 run, capped with a pair of Jerryd Bayless 21-footers, to tie the game with 5:30 remaining.

"I kept looking at my staff saying, 'I've got to get Mike Conley in there,' but Jerryd kept making buckets. I would have been a fool if I would have taken Jerryd out of that game," said Grizzlies coach Mike Joerger. "He has kind of been due. He has missed some shots. He's a guy that's similar to Mike Miller in that every time he shoots, I think it's going in. He's had some rough nights."

The teams traded blows from there until Gasol's jumper from the elbow gave the Grizzlies a 91-88 lead with 1:35 showing.

The Celtics had an opportunity to tie the game after the Grizzlies turned it over on a shot clock violation, but Sullinger and Green each missed a 3- pointer, forcing Boston to foul Conley with 15.4 ticks to go.

Conley calmly sunk a pair from the free throw line and Green missed a step- back three on the other end.

Bayless knocked down a pair of free throws to account for the final difference.

The Grizzlies led by as many as nine points in a back-and-forth first quarter, but the Celtics cut it to 27-24 after the first 12 minutes.

Boston ripped off a 23-9 burst in the second to go up 49-42, but scored just one point in the final two minutes of the half to take a 50-46 lead into the break.

Tony Allen's dunk with 4:25 left in the third capped a 16-5 run to give Memphis a 66-57 lead, but the Celtics closed the quarter with a 15-0 flurry to take a 72-66 advantage into the final stanza.
