Madrid, Spain (SportsNetwork.com) - Cristiano Ronaldo bagged a hat trick and Gareth Bale added a double on Wednesday as Real Madrid rolled to a 7-3 smashing of Sevilla at the Bernabeu.

Coming off a disappointing 2-1 setback against Barcelona in the season's first edition of El Clasico last weekend, Los Blancos responded to the defeat by blasting Sevilla, as Bale got his team rolling quickly.

Bale, the former Tottenham man, opened the scoring for Real just 13 minutes in and completed a brace in the 27th minute before Ronaldo converted a penalty for a 3-0 lead just past the half-hour mark.

Ivan Rakitic and Carlos Bacca scored in quick succession for Sevilla to make it 3-2 at the break.

But the second half was all Real Madrid as Karim Benzema got into the scoring act in the 53rd minute and Ronaldo added a second goal six minutes later. Rakitic completed his double in the 62nd minute to make it a 5-3 game.

But Sevilla had no answer for all of Madrid's star power as Ronaldo finished his hat trick 20 minutes from time and Benzema scored a second goal 10 minutes later to complete the rout.

Valladolid 2, Real Sociedad 2

Valladolid, Spain - Valladolid struck twice in the final 15 minutes on Wednesday to salvage a point in a 2-2 draw against Real Sociedad at the Jose Zorrilla.

The visitors grabbed the upper hand 15 minutes into the match when Antoine Griezmann opened the scoring. Sociedad then snagged a 2-0 margin in the 53rd minute after Griezmann completed his brace.

But Valladolid got back into the match in the 76th minute when Daniel Larsson found the back of the net and Javi Guerra netted the equalizer three minutes later.

Valladolid had an opportunity to steal all three points with a penalty kick in stoppage time, but Patrick Ebert failed to convert and the sides were forced to share the spoils.

Almeria 2, Valencia 1

Valencia, Spain - Alexis Parreu scored the winner 21 minutes from time to lift newly-promoted Almeria to a 2-1 victory over Valencia at the Mestalla.

The home side opened the scoring in the 33rd minute when Jonas converted a spot kick and took the 1-0 lead into the intermission.

But after the break, Almeria struck back as Marco Torsiglieri scored just past the hour mark. Nine minutes later, Parreu bagged the winner to send Almeria to its first win of the campaign.

Valencia drops to 11th place in La Liga on 13 points with the result.

Osasuna 3, Rayo Vallecano 1

Navarra, Spain - Oier Sonj scored in the first minute of play on Wednesday as Osasuna rolled to a comfortable 3-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano at the Estadio El Sadar.

After Osasuna grabbed the early lead, Vallecano never caught up to the pace of play as the host added a second goal 12 minutes later through Oriol Magem and took the 2-0 lead into the break.

After the intermission, Roberto Torres made it 3-0 for Osasuna. Vallecano finally caught a break in the 66th when Miguel de las Cuevas was sent off and the visitors pulled one back via Alejandro Galvez 19 minutes from time, but it was too little, too late as the hosts claimed the points.
