Kevin Harvick has apologized for his comments after an incident with Ty Dillon during the Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway.

Harvick told FOX Sports 1 he regretted comments he made about Dillon and his older brother, Austin. The Dillons are the grandsons of Harvick's longtime team owner Richard Childress, and Harvick cited them as the reason he's leaving the organization at the end of the season.

Harvick and Dillon bumped with 12 laps left in Saturday's race as they battled for second. Harvick was hit from behind by Dillon, and then Matt Crafton ran into the back of Dillon, causing more damage.

Harvick has four races remaining this season with Richard Childress Racing, including Sunday at Martinsville Speedway. He's tied for third in the Sprint Cup standings.
