St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Miguel Cabrera didn't win the Triple Crown again, but he did double up on another offensive plaudit.

The Detroit Tigers third baseman was named Sunday as a recipient of the Hank Aaron Award for most outstanding offensive performer in the American League.

Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt earned the award for the National League.

The award, voted on by fans at MLB.com and by a panel of Hall of Fame players including Aaron himself, was also bestowed on Cabrera last year after he was the first player since 1967 to win the Triple Crown.

This season, Cabrera led the majors with a .348 average but was second in home runs (44) and RBI (137) to Baltimore's Chris Davis, who had 53 and 138.

Goldschmidt led the NL with 125 RBI and tied for first with 36 home runs. He batted .302.
