DT Stephen Paea returns for Bears vs. Redskins after missing 2 games with turf toe

Published January 13, 2015

Associated Press

Defensive tackle Stephen Paea is back for the Chicago Bears after missing two games with a turf toe in his right foot.

Paea is active for Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins. Paea's return was a boost for a defensive line that has lost tackles Henry Melton and Nate Collins for the season with injuries.

Cornerback Charles Tillman returns after missing one game with a knee injury. Tight end Martellus Bennett is active after being limited in practice throughout the week with a knee injury.

Redskins cornerback David Amerson is active after leaving the previous week's game with a concussion. Tight end Fred Davis, who was expected to be a starter this season but has only three catches through five games, is inactive.
