LeVeon Bell sparked a string of 24 straight points in a 2:54 span near the end of the first half as the Steelers downed the Texans, 30-23, on Monday. Bell amassed 145 yards from scrimmage and caught a touchdown pass from Ben Roethlisberger, who shook off a slow start and finished with 265 yards and two scores through the air. Flacco, coming off a five-touchdown performance against Tampa Bay last week, completed 16-of-25 passes with two interceptions, Torrey Smith had three catches for 81 yards and a score and Owen Daniels also hauled in a TD pass for the Ravens (5-2), who registered at least five sacks for a second consecutive week. Justin Forsett ran for 95 yards on 23 carries and Bernard Pierce plunged into the end zone from a yard out to give the Ravens their third straight win at home. Matt Ryan went 29- of-44 for 228 yards and a touchdown and Roddy White made nine grabs for 100 yards and a score for Atlanta (2-5), which lost its fourth straight game overall and sixth in a row away from home.

The prospect of the Bills winning appeared dim when Orton was sacked at the Buffalo 40 on third down inside the two-minute warning. However, the veteran quarterback converted a 4th-and-20 with a 24-yard pass to Scott Chandler. Orton later hit Chris Hogan near the sideline at the 2 for 28 yards before spiking the ball to stop the clock with five seconds remaining. St. Louis (2-4), which snapped three-game losing streaks both overall and against Seattle, had a punt return touchdown and converted a gutsy fake punt late in the game to seal the victory. Tre Mason rushed for 85 yards on 18 carries and scored the first touchdown of his career in the win. The Seahawks (3-3), who were coming off a 30-23 setback at home to Dallas last Sunday, hadn't lost two straight games since doing so in late October of 2012. Last week, Murray matched Jim Brown's NFL record of six straight weeks with a 115-yard performance in Dallas' win in Seattle. The surging Cowboys (6-1) have won six in a row following a Week 1 loss to the 49ers in which Romo threw three interceptions. Since then, he has tossed 13 touchdown passes and just three picks. Stepfan Taylor had a rushing touchdown and a receiving score in the win, Arizona's second straight. It's been a long time coming for the Cardinals, who haven't started 5-1 since 1976. Derek Carr went 16-for-28 for 173 yards for Oakland (0-6), which has lost 12 straight games dating back to last season. The Raiders, who are now the only winless team in the NFL, haven't tasted victory since Nov. 17 at Houston. Darren McFadden rushed for 48 yards on 14 carries with the lone touchdown in the setback.

Denver, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Peyton Manning didn't waste much time surpassing Brett Favre. Getting a hold of the record-breaking football wasn't so easy. Manning tossed his 509th touchdown pass in the second quarter to break Favre's NFL record and threw for four scores overall in three quarters of work as the Denver Broncos routed the San Francisco 49ers 42-17 on Sunday night. The five-time NFL MVP Manning fired touchdown passes on three of his first four drives, with his 8-yarder to Demaryius Thomas on a 3rd-and-goal in the front right part of the end zone setting the record at the 3:09 mark of the second. Following the score, the Broncos receivers along with Julius Thomas played a game of keepaway with Manning, not letting him have the ball before finally giving it to the future Hall of Famer. The Broncos also played a brief tribute on the big screen, which included messages from Favre, John Elway and several of Manning's teammates. Manning, who threw for 399 of his touchdown passes while with the Indianapolis Colts, reached the record in his 246th game -- 56 games fewer than Favre. Manning finished 22-of-26 for 318 yards, while Demaryius Thomas caught eight passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns for the Broncos (5-1), who have won three straight games.

Foxboro, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - Tom Brady tossed three touchdown passes and Chris Jones blocked Nick Folk's 58-yard field goal attempt on the final play of the game to help the New England Patriots hang on for a 27-25 win over the New York Jets. Trailing 27-19, Geno Smith tossed a 10-yard score to Jeff Cumberland on a 3rd-and-6 with 2:31 remaining to get the Jets within two, but Smith overshot Jace Amaro on the ensuing two-point conversion. New York's defense, though, forced a three-and-out after a failed onside kick attempt and the Jets regained possession at their own 12 with 1:06 left and no timeouts. Smith led the Jets to the Patriots' 40, but Folk drove his kick too low and Jones got his right hand on the ball to preserve New England's third straight win. Brady, who has thrown nine touchdown passes without an interception during the winning streak, was 20-of-37 for 261 yards for New England (5-2), which won despite possessing the ball for just 19:06. Brady moved to 7-0 in his career on Thursdays, tossing 16 touchdowns compared to just two interceptions. Shane Vereen, filling in for the injured Stevan Ridley, caught five passes for 71 yards and two touchdowns and added 43 yards rushing on 11 carries.
