Arnold Walker rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns as Alcorn State pounded Southwestern Athletic Conference rival Grambling State 48-0 in the 30th Anniversary of the Circle City Classic.

Alcorn State forced a three-and-out on the first possession and blocked the punt to take over on the Grambling 7 yard line. On the next play John Gibbs Jr. hit Jordan Payne for a touchdown and the rout was on.

The Braves (5-2, 3-1 SWAC) limited the Tigers (0-3, 0-7) to 162 yards, including just 30 passing. Grambling only converted 1 of 14 third downs and got into Alcorn territory twice. Meanwhile, Alcorn State piled up 542 yards.

Walker scored on a 1-yard run in the second quarter and a 26-yarder in the third. Zerick Rollins Jr. also had a pair of touchdowns and Anthony Williams III added one as the Braves wracked up 288 yards on the ground.
