New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie is questionable for the team's game against Pittsburgh with a knee injury, while tight end Kellen Winslow is doubtful after an excused absence Friday.

Coach Rex Ryan confirms that Cromartie, the Jets' top cornerback, hyperextended a knee during practice Thursday and will be a game-time decision Sunday. Cromartie was injured when he tried to change direction on a goal-line drill and it was "one of those hold-your-breath type moments," Ryan said.

Winslow's status is somewhat curious because he appeared frustrated at his lack of snaps in the team's win at Atlanta last Monday night, and has refused to speak to the media. Winslow hasn't practiced all week while resting his balky right knee, but was excused Friday by Ryan, who declined to discuss details.
