Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor says the team's struggling defense still has some swagger despite its 0-4 start.

Pittsburgh is last in the NFL in sacks, and has yet to force a turnover heading into Sunday's game against the New York Jets (3-2). Taylor says his confidence remains high and it's too soon for critics to write off the season.

Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin is tweaking the starting lineup searching for a spark. Third-year defensive end Cam Heyward will start against New York. The former first-round pick says he's more comfortable now than he's been at any point in his career.

Heyward says the big thing for the Steelers is to have more success on first down. If opponents get into long-yardage situations, Heyward says the defense can be more aggressive.
