Manu Ginobili had 14 points, five rebounds and four steals and Patty Mills added 14 points as the San Antonio Spurs opened their preseason by escaping with a 95-93 overtime victory against CSKA Moscow on Wednesday night.

In their first game together since losses to the Miami Heat in Games 6 and 7 of the NBA Finals, San Antonio's starters played for 2 1-2 quarters against the former two-time Euroleague champions.

Tim Duncan had 10 points in 18 minutes and Tony Parker had six points and five assists for the Spurs while reserve Aron Baynes added 12 points.

Baynes' tip-in with .5 seconds remaining forced overtime.

Former NBA players Jeremy Pargo and Sonny Weems led CSKA with 20 and 16 points, respectively. Pargo had six rebounds and five assists.
