Baylor's preposterous offensive numbers were supposed to go down once Big 12 play started.

Not yet.

The high-flying Bears scored a season-high 73 points in a 31-point blowout of West Virginia on Saturday night. The Bears scored 56 points in the first half, broke a Big 12 record with 864 yards and had eight TDs rushing.

Baylor has now scored 69, 70, 70 and 73 points en route to a 4-0 start. Its 70.5 points per game is far and away the nation's best; with Oregon in second at 59.2 points and Florida State in third at 53.6 a game.
