Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have re-signed wide receiver Tiquan Underwood, who was among the club's final cuts before the start of the season.

Underwood, who played for Bucs coach Greg Schiano at Rutgers, appeared in 14 games last season for Tampa Bay and posted career highs of 28 catches, 425 yards and two touchdowns.

The fifth-year veteran has also played for Jacksonville and New England. He was infamously cut the night before the Patriots' Super Bowl XLVI loss to the New York Giants after the 2011 season.
