Florham Park, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - According to the New York Post, Jets wid receiver Santonio Holmes will be out a few weeks due to a hamstring injury suffered in Sunday's loss to the Tennessee Titans.

Citing an unidentified source, the Post is also reporting that the team is expected to sign wide receiver David Nelson since the Jets are expected to be without fellow wide out Stephen Hill, who suffered a concussion on Sunday.

Holmes has 10 catches for 243 yards and one touchdown this season, while Hill has 13 receptions for 233 yards and one score.

Nelson spent the last three seasons with the Buffalo Bills, appearing in 32 games and recording 94 catches for 1,042 yards and eight touchdowns.

The Jets face the Falcons on Monday night.
