Twente joined PSV Eindhoven and Heerenveen at the top of the Eredivisie table on Sunday as Eghan Shadrach scored a pair of goals in a 5-0 win.

PSV Eindhoven's first defeat of the campaign on Saturday against AZ Alkmaar opened the door for both Heerenveen and Twente, and both clubs took advantage with three points on Sunday to leave three teams tied atop the league on 15 points.

Twente seized control of the match in the opening 30 minutes as goals from Rasmus Bengtsson and Shadrach had the home side up, 2-0.

Johan Kappelhof was then sent off shortly before the break for Groningen while conceding a penalty kick, and Dusan Tadic made no mistake from the spot.

Shadrach added his second goal of the match in the 54th and Jesus Corona capped the scoring five minutes from time with his first goal of the season.

Heerenveen was able to join the leaders after downing Cambuur, 2-1, through a 67th-minute goal from Alfred Finnbogason.

Graziano Pelle scored a hat trick in Feyenoord's 4-2 triumph over Den Haag, while Vitesse edged last-place NEC, 3-2, with a stoppage-time goal from Lucas Piazon.
