Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone announced that defensive lineman Alex Carrington suffered a season-ending leg injury on Sunday against the New York Jets.

Carrington was injured on a third-down run play up the middle in the fourth quarter. His knee buckled while attempting to push back Jets right guard Willie Colon off the line of scrimmage. The Arkansas State product fell to the ground and did not get up.

The Bills had high expectations this season for Carrington. He had already registered ten tackles in the first three games.

First-year defensive lineman Corbin Bryant is expected to start in his place.
