CINCINNATI – The Bengals shored up their cornerback position for a game against the Green Bay Packers, promoting Chris Lewis-Harris from their practice squad on Saturday.
Lewis-Harris spent most of last season in the practice squad. Cincinnati waived safety Jeromy Miles to open a roster spot.
Cincinnati faces one of the NFL's top passing games on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium with two of its top cornerbacks hurt. Dre Kirkpatrick strained a hamstring in Monday night's 20-10 win over Pittsburgh and was listed as doubtful. Adam "Pacman" Jones missed practice with with an abdominal injury and was listed as questionable.
On Wednesday, the Bengals (1-1) signed free agent cornerback Curtis Marsh, who was waived by the Eagles Sept. 5.
The Packers (1-1) are coming off a 38-20 win over Washington.
