Trent Richardson likes being in Indianapolis, and his new teammates are excited to have him.

One day after the Colts swung a blockbuster trade to pair the No. 1 and No. 3 overall picks in the 2012 draft, the Colts' new running back walked into the locker room and was greeted by hoots and hollers.

Richardson, once considered the foundation for Cleveland's latest rebuilding project, said he was shocked when the Browns called to say they had dealt him for a first-round pick in next April's draft. He believes, however, Indy is a good landing spot.

Coach Chuck Pagano said Richardson is likely to play Sunday at San Francisco. Richardson said he would be keeping late-night hours to study the playbook so he's ready to play against the 49ers.
