Seattle Seahawks starting cornerback Brandon Browner is inactive for the second straight game with a hamstring injury.

Browner was ruled out of Sunday night's NFC West showdown with San Francisco. He was hurt in practice last week and missed the season opener at Carolina. He was listed as doubtful on the final injury report.

Seattle is also without defensive end Chris Clemons as he recovers from offseason knee surgery, but Cliff Avril is active after missing last week's opener. Avril is expected to start at defensive end.

San Francisco is healthy with the exception of backup running back and kick returner LaMichael James, who's out with a knee injury. James was questionable on the final injury report and missed last week's opener.
