Uniondale, NY – The New York Islanders have agreed to terms on a professional tryout contract with veteran defenseman Radek Martinek.
The 36-year-old Czech has totaled 25 goals and 82 assists in 473 career NHL games, all but seven with the Islanders.
The Islanders also announced that forward Justin Johnson will attend the club's training camp on a tryout basis.
