Florham Park, NJ – The New York Jets signed wide receiver Ben Obomanu and released linebacker Scott Solomon on Tuesday.
Obomanu was with the Jets in training camp and was among the final cuts prior to the start of the regular season.
He spent his first five years in the league (2007-12) with the Seattle Seahawks, totaling 87 catches for 1,209 yards and seven touchdowns in the 66 games. Last season, in just eight games, he had four catches for 58 yards.
