Seahawks' Browner inactive

Charlotte, NC – Seattle Seahawks starting cornerback Brandon Browner is inactive for Sunday's season opener against the Carolina Panthers.

Browner suffered a hamstring injury during practice on Tuesday and did not participate in Thursday or Friday's sessions.

Chris Clemons, who tore the anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in his knee in the wild-card round last year, and fellow defensive end Cliff Avril (hamstring) are also inactive.
