Tennessee Titans linebacker Akeem Ayers and right tackle David Stewart are both questionable for Sunday's season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Ayers, who has an ankle injury, has been a limited participant in practice the last three days.

"He got better each day. Today he did the most practicing. I think he pretty much did everything today. He participated from start to finish, so I think that was good for him," Titans head coach Mike Munchak said.

Munchak is hopeful of Stewart's chances. The 31-year-old was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice, but has missed the last two days with a calf injury.

"I liked him. I think he's going to be good. I think he felt better today like he was able to actually do all our other stuff, off the field stuff. He did all the walkthrough which is a decent tempo. He looked pretty good, so we're hoping he'll be fine," Munchak said.

In addition, Titans linebacker Zaviar Gooden (ankle) is listed as out and fullback Quinn Johnson (quad) is doubtful.
