Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Marcedes Lewis left practice early Wednesday after re-injuring his left calf.

Coach Gus Bradley says Lewis' calf "tightened up" early in practice, so team doctors pulled him for further evaluation.

Lewis missed part of training camp and the final three preseason games because of the injury. If he can't play Sunday against Kansas City, the Jaguars would be really thin at that position. The team has backup tight end Allen Reisner, but Clay Harbor and D.J. Williams were claimed off waiver last weekend.

Also Wednesday, newly added receiver Stephen Burton left practice with cramping issues.

Running back Justin Forsett (toe), defensive tackle Roy Miller (knee), defensive end Jeremy Mincey (allergic reaction) and guard Will Rackley (ankle) also were limited.
