Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey will miss Thursday's season-opener against the Baltimore Ravens with a left foot injury.

The 12-time Pro Bowl selection has been out of practice since injuring the foot in a preseason game on Aug. 17.

Free-agent addition Dominique Rogers-Cromartie will likely take Bailey's spot in the starting lineup.

Tight end Joel Dreessen (knee) has also been ruled out and guard Chris Kuper is doubtful with an Achilles injury.

Thursday's game, which kicks off the 2013 NFL season, is a rematch of the 2012 AFC Divisional round classic where the Ravens stunned the Broncos with a 38-35 double-overtime victory.
