Nurnberg, Germany – Nurnberg has completed the signing of Japan international midfielder Makoto Hasebe from Bundesliga rivals Wolfsburg.
Hasebe has spent the past five years with Wolfsburg after moving from Urawa Red Diamonds, and he went on to appear in 134 matches during his time at the Grundig Stadium, scoring five goals and helping the team capture the 2009 Bundesliga title.
The 29-year-old has made one substitute appearance this season for Wolfsburg, and could help fill the void left by Timmy Simons, who left for Club Brugge this summer.
