New Orleans, LA – The New Orleans Saints made 22 roster moves today on Saturday to reach the NFL-mandated limit of 53.
They Saints terminated the contracts of veteran cornerback Chris Carr, safety Jim Leonhard, defensive end Jay Richardson and wide receiver Courtney Roby.
The club also placed center Eric Olsen on injured reserve with a knee injury.
Meanwhile, New Orleans waived the following players: nose tackle Isaako Aitui, outside linebacker Baraka Atkins, quarterback Ryan Griffin, wide receiver Saalim Hakim, tight end Michael Higgins, fullback Austin Johnson, outside linebacker Rufus Johnson, tackle Marcel Jones, cornerback Korey Lindsey, guard Elliott Mealer, tight end Keavon Milton, safety Jerico Nelson, wide receiver Preston Parker, cornerback Jumal Rolle, inside linebacker Ray Shipman, guard Andrew Tiller and center Jeremiah Warren.
