St. Louis, MO – The St. Louis Rams finalized their 53-man roster on Saturday by releasing 19 players.
On the offensive side of the ball, the team released tackles Sean Hooey and D.J. Young, quarterback Austin Davis, wide receivers Emory Blake, Nick Johnson and Justin Veltung, tight ends Philip Lutzenkirchen and Zach Potter and fullback Eric Stevens.
Defensive ends Mason Brodine, R.J. Washington and Sammy Brown, safeties Cody Davis and Rashard Hall, defensive tackle Garrett Goebel, linebacker Josh Hull and cornerbacks Andre Martin, Darren Woodard and Drew Thomas were also released.
The Rams also waived/injured tackle Ty Nsekhe and placed linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar and running back Isaiah Pead on the reserve/suspended list.
