Cam Weaver scored twice to lead the Houston Dynamo to a 2-1 win over Panama's Arabe Unido on Tuesday night in the group stage of the CONCACAF Champions League.

Houston takes over the lead in Group 1 with a 1-0-1 record and four points, while Arabe Unido falls to second with a 1-1-0 record and three points.

Weaver gave the Dynamo a 2-1 lead in the 76th minute. Warren Creavalle kept a ball alive on the left box and passed it to Brad Davis, who crossed it into the right goalkeeper's box where Weaver hit a diving header inside the near post.

Weaver tied the score 1-1 in the 23rd, taking a cross from Corey Ashe from the left side and sending a right-footed shot into the middle of the net from the upper goalkeeper's box.

Arabe Unido took a 1-0 lead in the eighth minute on a penalty kick by Abdiel Arroyo.
